Become A Vendor

We are always seeking vendors who have a heart for locally-grown food, an appreciation for the hand-crafted, and a desire to be as eco-friendly in their business as possible.

If you think your small business would be a good fit, we look forward to seeing your application!

See below to discover the businesses we are actively seeking, what it takes to start your business, and what it costs to vend at our market.

All spots for our Mother's Day Boutique 2024 have been filled. Keep an eye out for our Holiday Bazaar application in the late summer.

HOW TO START YOUR BUSINESS

FARMS & RANCHES NEED A PRODUCER'S CERTIFICATE TO SELL TO THE PUBLIC

PREPARED FOODS (BAKERIES, FOOD TRUCKS, ETC) NEED A HEALTH PERMIT TO SELL TO THE PUBLIC. RANCHES ALSO NEED A HEALTH HEALTH PERMIT FOR TEMP CONTROL.

TO SELL AT OUR MARKET, YOU CAN HAVE EITHER AN ANNUAL RENO BUSINESS LICENSE OR PAY A $23 TEMPORARY DAY LICENSE FOR EACH MARKET YOU ATTEND. Nonprofits and businesses selling *only* products of the soil are exempt from needing a business license.

YOU NEED A NEVADA STATE BUSINESS LICENSE TO APPLY FOR THE ANNUAL RENO LICENSE, BUT MANY NEW BUSINESSES QUALIFY FOR AN EXEMPTION FOR THEIR FIRST YEAR

ALL VENDORS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE LIABILITY INSURANCE TO VEND WITH US.  WE HAVE LOOKED FOR THE LEAST EXPENSIVE OPTIONS AND RECOMMEND THIS FOR FARMERS AND FOOD VENDORS AND THIS FOR ARTISANS.
