Celebrate
Community

Come where handmade, artisanal goods blend with locally grown produce and freshly crafted culinary delights. Relax along the river and enjoy the sounds of guitarists strumming, accordions bellowing, and children playing. Grab some hot breakfast or lunch and enjoy a coffee, festive {adult} libation, or herbal elixir. Wear something to celebrate the season and get a professional photo with your family and friends... or Santa himself!

This year, to bring our community together for some delicious fun, we're hosting open competitions for local bakers, local chefs, and local pie-eaters! Learn all about it below...

FAMILY PHOTOS

'Tis the season to celebrate those we love! And yes, that includes Santa for those who await him with cookies each year. This year, our Bazaar is offering two low-cost professional photo opportunities! We've partnered with two fantastic local photographers to pull this off...

Santa Pictures

For pictures with Santa, Yashila Sanchez of @YashiPhoto will be snapping 1-2 shots with Santa for just $20. Yashila is our weekly photographer at our market and is incredibly talented. Your high-resolution images will be accessible in an online gallery for you to download, print large or small, and cherish forever.

Holiday Portraits

For holiday portraits, Lauren Kaz of  Lauren Kaz Photography, will be capturing your family amid the lovely late fall foliage. For just $25, your family will receive 2-3 high-resolution, beautiful images (via an online gallery) for printing, posting, and cherishing.

Friendly Community contests

Calling all local bakers and hungry bellies! We challenge you to put forward your BEST PIE for a friendly community competition. Local attendees will have a chance to sample submissions (while they last!) and score each entry.

We'll also be hosting our first-ever Pie EATING Contest for all ages!

Pie BAKING Contest

Our Pie Baking Contest asks contestants to bake a sweet pie that Bazaar attendees will sample and score based on the quality of the filling, crust, and visual appearance (we will photograph your pie upon arrival).

$100 Cash prizes will be awarded for Best Crust, Best Filling, and Best Presentation.
A $300 Prize will be awarded for the overall Pie Champion.

Find Contest Rules & Entry Form Here

Pie EATING Contest

Perhaps the most entertaining of all our contests this year, our Pie Eating Contest will be broken into two levels: one for ages 10 and under, and one for ages 10 and up. Contestants will not be allowed to use their hands at all, and pies will be provided (vegan and nonvegan, all gluten free).

$150 Cash Prize For First Place in each Grown Up and Children's Division

Tree Cozy Contest

Have you ever noticed those whimsical crocheted/knit blankets around the trunks of trees? If not, they look like this. Sometimes called "yarn bombing," we prefer to call them Tree Cozies, and we're hosting a sweet contest for all of you talented local Knitters/Crocheters! We have 12 eligible trees for you to create a Cozy for, and Bazaar attendees will place votes for the best one.
